COVID-19 cases in Ghana now 17,741 as recoveries hit 13, 268

Ghana has recorded 390 new cases of COVID-19 taking the country’s total tally to 17,741, Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye has announced.

At a press briefing organised the Information Ministry on Tuesday, Dr Kuma-Aboagye also announced that a total of 13,268 persons have recovered from the disease.

Currently, there are 24 persons in critical and severe conditions with four on ventilators.

Ghana has 4,361 active cases as of June 30, 2020.
