Ghana handed boost as Thomas Agyepong steps up recovery
Black Stars attacker Thomas Agyepong took part in the team’s training session on Friday evening
Although he trained separately from the group, Coach Kwesi Appiah can finally start counting the days for the return of his winger.
The Manchester City-owned player has been out since picking up a hamstring injury against Benin in Ghana’s opening game.
The 22 has however stepped up his recovery and will be hoping to at least make the bench for the round of 16 tie against Tunisia.
The four-time winners face Carthage Eagles at the Ismailia Stadium at 4pm on Monday.
