I cried when Obour lost his primaries- Okyeame Kwame
Ghanaian rapper, Okyeame Kwame has revealed that he shed tears when his colleague, former President of MUSIGA, Bice Osei Kuffour, popularly known as Obour, lost out on his Parliamentary primaries.
According to the “Made in Ghana” ambassador, he feels strongly that Obour would have made an excellent Member of Parliament for his constituency.
“I cried when Obour lost his primaries. He is the most selfless human being I know and I know he would have been an amazing MP for the people. I have confidence he will succeed in future,” he revealed in a recent interview with Bola Ray on his “Starr Chat” show.
Bice Osei Kuffour, after completing his term as President for the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), took a step further to contest for the Member of Parliament seat in the Asante Akyem South constituency in the Ashanti Region under the ticket of the National Patriotic Party (NPP).
He however lost out in June when the primaries were held.
Okyeame Kwame also stated that going into politics has crossed his mind.
“Going into politics has crossed my mind 50% of the time. My wife says I don’t have the heart for politics but I don’t think I should have the heart before I get into it,” he added.
