Ghanaian gospel singer, Kobby Salm has expressed his disappointment at the Ghanaian media for not making noise about his collaboration with a major international artist.
The “Obiara Nse wo” singer, in an interview with Ameyaw TV to talk about his new album, “In the Midst of Comfort” mentioned that he scored a feature with Grammy-award winning gospel artist, Canton Jones.
According to Kobby Salm, even though that feature is “noise worthy,” it didn’t get as much attention as compared to international features in different genres.
“I sat to think about why a secular artist will feature a Grammy-nominee, the whole industry will go crazy about it but we did this feature and nobody is talking about it.
“Is it because of the genre we do? Regardless, we’re still putting Ghana on the map,” he added.
