‘It was a prank to expose my enemies’ – DKB is not retiring from comedy
Ghanaian comedian, DKB has made a U-turn after he announced his retirement from the profession yesterday. According to him, it was just prank.
In a yesterday, the self-acclaimed “King of Ghanaian comedy” stated that he was retiring because he was tired of the backlash.
“I’m RETIRING from comedy. I’m tired. Enough of negativity & disrespect, I didn’t kill anyone, I just make people laugh, so why the insults in return?” he wrote.
However reacting to articles about his retirement, the comedian says it was joke to see the reaction of his enemies.
“Once in a while you do a prank to expose your enemies. He really thought I was retiring, see the amount of hatred this blogger had harboured for me. May God give you the tactics to expose your enemies.” he wrote in a tweet.
