UK-based premier league club, Manchester United are reportedly working behind the scenes to fire their manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjær after a 4-1 defeat to Watford.
Manchester United on Saturday afternoon, November 19, 2021, fell to a disappointing Premier League defeat at Watford.
The club’s board after the disappointing defeat held an emergency meeting on Saturday night on the decision to sack Ole Gunnar and Joel Glazer, the co-chairman who heads the American family’s ownership, has agreed to rubber-stamp the move.
The first-team coach, Michael Carrick, and the club’s technical director, Darren Fletcher – both successful former United players – are understood to be ready to take interim charge when Solskjær’s departure is confirmed.
In a tweet sighted on Fabrizio Romano’s Twitter page, he revealed that the Manchester-based club

Official statement expected in the next hours, once paperwork will be completed.
